We walked through the same halls of the Autonomous University of Yucatán for two months without even meeting eyes. Everything changed on October 7, 2023, when mutual friends invited us to a horror circus. That day, we finally met. The moment we laid eyes on each other, the chemistry was immediate… as if we had always been destined to meet. Throughout the fall semester and then into the spring, we continued getting to know each other, going on dates to restaurants, cafes, the beach, and go-karts. As the days passed, we realized how much we enjoyed being together, sharing laughter, unforgettable moments, and experiences. After more than a month of planning the perfect moment, Caleb proposed to Sarahi on the beach on June 3, 2024… and she said yes! Now we are happy to start planning the rest of our lives together and to celebrate this big step surrounded by our families and friends.
